my new hair-do

my mom and grandma picked me up from my apartment today to stay at my mom's house for the weekend. we stopped at denny's on the way home where we met with my payee and had lunch. after that, we stopped to get our hair done at my cousin's salon. i got about 4 or 5 inches cut off my hair. it'll grow back, so i'm not concerned about that. i've never got this much cut off of my hair before (or, at least, i don't remember). i never told my grandma last night when i spoke with my grandma on the phone that i would be getting this much hair cut off of my head. i wanted a hair-do where i wouldn't have to always throw it up in a pony tail everytime that i wanted to go out anywhere just to keep it out of my face and so i wouldn't get so warm. i got a streak of red in my hair also. i always kept my hair long partially to keep my grandma happy and i was afraid of my face looking fat with short hair. i've never had short hair before, so my sister said this was a change for me. i decided to donate my hair to some foundation for people who need hair. i have enough hair and it'll just grow back, might as well just put it to good use by giving it to someone who needs it.
i don't know if i wrote about this on my blog yet- rochelle can't go with me to the metallica concert because she claims it's the day of her daughter's birthday. i could've sworn that i told her that it was on october 13 but she claims that i told her it was on the 17th. i don't know where she got that day from. i thought of some people who would go with me instead of her and i came up with a girl who happens to be the grandaughter of my grandma's best friend. she asked her friend if she thinks that her grandaughter would like to go to the concert with me and she said that she would ask her grandaughter. her grandaughter is my friend misty. misty called my grandma and told her that she'd like to go and we're going to arrange how both of us will get to the concert tommorow. something told me not to count on rochelle to go with me to the concert. i think that misty would actually enjoy the concert, she likes metallica, i don't really think that rochelle really liked the band. i hope that misty will go to the concert with me and we'll have a fun time.
